PARC Leads Panel on Seattle Consent Decree for Annual NACOLE Conference

At the annual conference of the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE) in St. Louis earlier this week, Deputy Director Matthew Barge moderated a panel of stakeholders discussing the federal consent decree that addresses the Seattle Police Department. 

Participants included Merrick Bobb, PARC Executive Director; Peter Holmes, Seattle City Attorney; Tim Mygatt, Special Litigation Unit, Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department of Justice; Pierce Murphy, Director of the Seattle Office of Professional Accountability (OPA); Fé Lopez, Executive Director of the Seattle Community Police Commission (CPC); and Mike Diaz, Assistant U.S. Attorney, Western District of Washington.
