Pasadena Police-Community Mediation and Dialogue Program Evaluation

In 2005, PARC received support from the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) to evaluate the Pasadena Police-Community Mediation and Dialogue Program.  Working with Pasadena police and city leaders, the Western Justice Center Foundation, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s  Dispute Resolution Services, PARC is assessing an innovative program in Pasadena that combines mediation of citizen complaints and a series of public forums designed to facilitate dialogue between the community and police department by focusing on particular topics of shared concern.  Click here to view the report on the COPS website.
